Sarah Stephanie Landry is a woman of Canadian origin with a very staunch Catholic upbringing. From a young age, she claims to have been spiritual and to have had spiritual experiences. She connected deeply to divine feminine, though in Catholicism there was no real Feminine god. 

 Sarah Landry has shared to several sources, including her videos in the past and people she associated with inside of sangha, that as a teenager, she was bullied for her weight and appearance. She shared that she grew up feeling that the world is an unfair place, and carried a constant need to prove herself worthy to the world, and to take vengeance on those who had wronged her. She wanted to be extraordinary. She even expressed multiple times that she enjoyed being Christain, even though it was flawed, but wanted an avenue to be empowered as a female divinity.  She expresses this in her own words on her blog which used to be masudevi.blogspot.com 

She immediately sought female Gods in other cultures. Hinduism being the the largest matriarchal organization in the world, with the most powerful depictions of divine feminine consciousness. She later shared many stories where she visualized herself as a female God and claimed she had vision of being a Goddess. Because of a premonition she claims she had, she gave herself the name “Sudevi” and began a career of appropriating Hindu femininity in order blackmail , mislead and fool her followers. 

We saw her transformation on her YouTube Channel. In her preliminary videos, she is staring at a computer screen reading out a script. She doesn’t even look at the camera as she speaks in a low monotone voice. Over a year, as she continuously went to programs and was exposed to Hindu culture, her persona on camera grow more confident. Her YouTube personality was very clear: using all feminine HIndu dress, jewels, decoration, make-up  and content, she was building her stardom. It was only through the platform of Hinduism that she became famous. The divine feminine of HInduism was an image that Sarah Landry stole and appropriated in order to promote her own agenda. image She came to HDH in order to gain those qualities from the teachings of HDH, steal the audience and culturally appropriate the teachings of HDH onto her own platform.
